About Organisation

Climate and People Welfare Council (CPWC) is dedicated to fostering inclusive and sustainable development across rural and urban India. With a focus on community empowerment, social equity, and environmental resilience, CPWC works at the intersection of policy, grassroots engagement, and institutional capacity building. Its initiatives span a wide range of development priorities, including skill development, education, sustainable livelihoods, public health, climate action, and social welfare. CPWC collaborates with local governance bodies, civil society networks, CSR partners, and development agencies, aligning efforts with national goals for inclusive growth and sustainable progress. Inspired by the policy vision of various ministries of the Government of India—particularly in areas of rural development, environmental sustainability, and social justice—CPWC undertakes programs that strengthen institutional frameworks, promote awareness, and support last-mile delivery of services. While independently governed, its work complements public sector efforts and actively supports grassroots-level implementation. Through a growing network of field units, training centres, and research collaborations, CPWC aims at providing technical support, capacity-building services, and impact-driven solutions tailored to the needs of diverse communities. Its mission is rooted in long-term transformation—building adaptive, resilient communities capable of shaping their own futures.
